Polyurethane modelling and tooling boards are used in vacuum forming, jigs, fixtures, foundry and GRO/FRP mould making.
Advantages of WB1600® over other high temperature toolboards
Is a highly innovative polyurethane tool board for low and high temperature applications due to its features:
Low CTE
Improved dimensional stability at high temperatures. Other plates, such as epoxy resins, often cannot withstand high temperatures (more than +120°C) and may deform. Tools made from rice white expand and contract at high temperatures like carbon fiber.
Good machinability
WB-1600® is a non-abrasive toolboard that machines well to ensure height accuracy.

To support our epoxy pattern and tooling materials Base produce a full range of specially formulated ancillary products that include adhesives, sealers, release agents and repair pastes.
